CHIMAIRA To Miss Kansas City Show Due To 'Multiple Bus Problems'

April 26, 2004

MTV.com reports: "CHIMAIRA will miss Monday's Jägermeister Tour stop in Kansas City, Missouri, because of multiple bus problems with multiple buses. The band was traveling from Truesdale, Missouri, to the venue when its bus conked out. A temporary replacement was called in, but soon after the group boarded, it too broke down. CHIMAIRA plan to hook up with another bus in time for their Tuesday show in West Des Moines, Iowa. Last year, the band had similar bad luck, surviving a bus accident and a video set fire. 'It's the same sh--, different tour,' frontman Mark Hunter said. 'I don't think we can ever do a tour without some type of catastrophe.' "
